Morgan presided over the meeting at which 7 members were present:
Morgan Hicks, Jean Beck, Justine Ozaki, Clare Cronkleton, Sandra Torkelson,
R. A. Stockwell and Maureen Vinson.
Morgan reminded everyone to buy their tickets to the Mariner's Stitch n Pitch. Thursday, July 28th at Safeco Field.
Justine volunteered to check into requirements for 501(c)3 status and was working on distributing our business cards at yarn/fabric
stores in the area.
After some discussion of our organizing options, motions were made and seconded and it was decided that we would establish
the guild as CROCHET GUILD SEATTLE.
The following officers were elected for 6 month terms:
Morgan Hicks, President
Maureen Vinson, Secretary
Clare Cronkleton, Treasurer
Annual dues was levied at $10.00 and all present paid their dues.
Morgan noted that good examples of by-laws could be found at the New York City Guild's web-site www.nyccrochetguild.org.

The June program was "Summer Crochet Show and Tell" and the first show and tell of our newly formed guild.
Members showed their beautiful projects and we were all amazed at the wonderful diversity. We also got to know
each other a little bit better. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
These minutes were corrected, motioned, seconded and approved by the membership present.
