MINUTES OF JANUARY MEETING

The meeting was held on January 10, 2009 at A New Yarn. In attendance were: Justine Ozaki, Deb Hobbs, Mary Ferrari, Carmella Peterson, Jan Ives, Darlene Pearsol, Anne Foster Angelou, Sherry Evard, Jean Becker and Josie Addington. Justine Ozaki, this year's President, led the meeting.

Old Business:

Dues for 2009 was established as $10.00 and was collected from the members.

New Business:

The workshops scheduled for 2009 are still tentative and will be finalized and announced during the February meeting.

Justine brought in her finished cap from the pattern she provided in December for last-minute gifts.

January Workshop:

Josie led the workshop for mittens/gloves and gauntlets. After a short introduction patterns were handed out and everyone worked on their chosen pattern.

Announcements:

Jean Becker will be conducting a class on lace at A New Yarn on January 24, 2009 from 1-3 p.m.
