Old Business
After another
discussion on name options, we decided on Crochet Seattle! Linda will order business cards.
Dues were collected. The dues for 2006 were set at $10. If you haven’t yet paid your dues please bring them to the next meeting.
Justine shared copies of the Crochet Guild of Puget Sound’s by-laws. Please review and we will decide
at the next meeting how we will word ours.
Discussion on joining the national Crochet Guild
of America. Dues are $45 for a year. Officers would need to belong
to the national guild. Benefits as a guild is that we would be listed as a
group on their web site. Members who individullly belong to the national guild
get copies of Crochet! magazine. We decided to table this till next meeting.
Some discussion
on need to move to a larger location in the future. All like the idea of meeting
in a yarn shop. Suggestions were the Fiber Gallery or Weaving Works (if they would
have us).
